Best Solution for Google Play error "Unfortunately google play store has stopped"

When you see “Google Play has stopped working …” error, you can try:

(Try one thing at a time, Don’t try everything at once. Try to run Google Play after each step.)

1. Remove the updates for your Google Play

- Go to the menu–>settings–>apps–>all–>google play store–> uninstall updates, then reboot your device.

2. Remove the cache for your Google Play

- Go to the menu–>settings–>apps–>all–>google play store–> remove cache, then try to run your google play again. It is better to do a reboot.

3. Try to delete and re-install Google Play

- In some cases, delete and re-install resolve this issue.

4. Check that Google Play on your device installed as system app instead of user app

- If your Google Play installed as user app, try to install it as system app. There is a app that helps you to change it easily. “/system/app mover” Try this app (Sorry you have to find the app on your own!)

5. Download and install a different version of Google Play

- Sometimes a different version of google play works instead of one that you have on your machine. so try to find a different version of google play(older or newer version) and try.

6. Adam’s Solution

- Set your mobile in “fligt mode” just to get rid of all the error messages from Google Play Store.
- Go to your application manager, then scroll to the right to “all apps”. Go to the very bottom and check that there are no deactivated apps/processes there. If so, enable them.”
- Deactivate “flight mode”. Now it should work again.

7. Use a different market application

- You can also use a different market app like 1mobile: “http://www.1mobile.com/” or SlideME: “http://slideme.org/”There are so many different android market apps, and it is up to you which one you will use!

fix the problem : Unfortunately google play store has stopped

There is one problem that often arises on your phone which is a real pain and that’s when you suddenly receive an error message saying "the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped" or "google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly". Regardless of what device you use, this is actually quite a simple thing to fix. Here are the most effective solutions.

Other than clearing the cache and the data for a particular app or even uninstalling your recently downloaded apps, there’s another quick way to get this done. First you will go into the settings of your Android smartphone or tablet. This can be attained either through the pull down notifications bar or in the app drawer. Once in here, find and tap on the Application Manager, Applications or Apps, depending on what it’s called on your device, found under the device subcategory of the main Settings page. When you land in the Applications Manager, swipe right to left to get to ‘All’ applications and then look for and tap to open Download Manager, which is the app with the Android as a logo.

The first option is easy, but wouldn't be apparent for a first time user. © AndroidPIT
The app info for Downloads (on my Galaxy S3) and Download Manager is a bit different than other apps, because the uninstall button is replaced with a disable button. To fix com.google.process.gapps has stopped error, you simply need to press disable and then enable it once again.

Another option would be to go to the Settings and then Applications Manager and again swipe to ‘All’ apps. This time however, you will press on the soft menu key or the on-screen menu key on the bottom left of your device. Here you will select ‘Reset app preferences’ which will bring the settings of all apps back to square one.
These methods should solve the problem and if you are having problems with the Google Play Store, we have further solutions that may be just the right medicine for your Android device.

whatsapp vs viber What is Better

SMS ruled the technology for almost a decade and people believed that this rule won’t end soon. But, with the launch of IM applications like Viber, WhatsApp, ChatOn, WeChat and Skype, this SMS technology will soon meet its maker.
It never means that we have found kings of chatting but at least we have found better alternatives to SMS and soon we’ll be seeing something that would replace SMS technology properly.
WhatsApp vs viber
Now that smartphones usage is on the rise, IM applications have become a necessity of users. Among all these, WhatsApp and Viber are the most popular ones. In this article, we will compare the features of both the apps and then conclude a winner at the end.
You might be aware of the functions of both the applications. They let you chat using the Internet only, they have loads of emoticons, you can set your profile on both the applications, etc. But what are the things that make one better than the other. Check the comparison below.

Compatibility

The compatibility for WhatsApp starts from Nokia S40 phones, the least one apps-compatibility wise. After this its compatibility increases to Nokia S40 Symbian, S60, and Android/iOS/BB OS/Windows, etc.
For Viber, you need to have at least Nokia S40 Symbian. It’s compatibility starts from this and goes to Nokia S60, and Android/iOS/BB. So, this means that Nokia S40 users can’t install Viber in their phones. However, Viber can be installed in your Windows, Mac and is available for Bada users as well.
You must have iOS 3.4 or later to run both. For Viber, you must have Windows Phone 8 while WhatsApp works on both Windows Phone 7.5 and Windows Phone 8. You need to have Android 2.1 or later in order to run WhatsApp. Viber’s Android compatibility starts from Android 2.0.
So, compatibility-wise, Viber gets a point.
Viber: 1
WhatsApp: 0

Interface

Whatsapp Interface
WhatsApp’s user interface is quite simple and easy to handle. WhatsApp Inc launches updates frequently to make its interface more appealing and user-friendly. But mainly, its interface depends on the type of platform you are using. Nokia S40 and Nokia S40 Symbian have the most basic WhatsApp interface. You can’t insert emoticons and text in the same line. You can’t view profiles of your friends properly. But this has been done to make your WhatsApp experience good.
On the other hand, WhatsApp for Symbian and Blackberry also has a basic type of interface, while for Android/iOS/Windows Phone, they have that standard green/blue colored UI.
Viber, on the other hand, has the same purple and white colored interface for all platforms, whether you are running it on PC or mobile phone. You just have 2 basic menus in Viber. The IM is also very easy to use but the additional video and voice calling options mess up the whole experience. Viber also has some limited options for Nokia S40 Symbian regarding the user experience.
So, interface and usability-wise, I’ll give a point to WhatsApp.
Viber: 1
WhatsApp: 1

Price

WhatsApp, now, costs nothing when you download it from iTunes, however, you have to pay $0.99 after one year for this app. Same works for Android, Windows, BBOS, S40 and Symbian (S60).
Viber is totally free for all the platforms. It doesn’t even offer advertisements like WhatsApp to make your user experience comfortable. However, the company will be announcing some stickers that you can use after paying a small amount.
Advertisements
Here, Viber gets a point.
Viber: 2
WhatsApp: 1

Bandwidth

With just texting options, WhatsApp  does not take much bandwidth. Only downloading may force it to use high network charges, but if you are texting only, then WhatsApp takes very less bandwidth.
Viber has video and voice calling options which make it drink high bandwidth in just a few minutes. If you are running Viber on Wi-Fi, then it is OK to use it. But never ever use Viber on your cellular network. You may end up losing all your credit in just few minutes
WhatsApp wins here!
Viber: 2
WhatsApp: 2

Security

You need to have a working registered phone number to use WhatsApp. The app scans your contact list and searches for people who already use WhatsApp. Now, you can chat with them. But the blocking option is there for your security. If you don’t want to chat or contact that annoying person in your contact list, just block him. Blocking someone means that now you won’t receive any messages from the person you blocked.
Viber is a bot smart in these kind of issues. It lets you handle these things in a different way. Everything works just like WhatsApp, but if you don’t want anyone to see your online status, then you can turn the thing off by going to Online status option in settings. Also, Viber through Google Analytics track down your maintenance services and IP Address data storage. So, if you don’t want it to track this, then turn the thing off.
In this regard, I’ll give them both a point.
Viber: 3
WhatsApp: 3

Features

In features, we won’t talk about the number of things these apps offer, but we’ll talk about how fast and smoothly these things work.
Through WhatsApp you can send voice notes, images, videos, contacts and can share your location. You can set a cool profile of yourself with a shining profile photo and a fantastic status. You don’t have to log in and log out every time you need to use it. You can receive offline messages, set a wallpaper, email your chats, group chat, broadcast messages and use loads of emoticons. But the experience is only limited to texting.
Though Viber you can send some of the things that WhatsApp sends, text, group chat, send stickers, emoticons, send doodles and push notifications, set your profile as in Viber and above all, you can voice chat as well as video chat. Well! this voice and video chat option is a drawback for people who run Viber on network charges. It’s all related with the bandwidth. Moreover, these stickers, and big emoticons make the apps usability poor.
WhatsApp Inc makes the features limited to give you the best user experience without draining your money. They could introduce voice chatting option as you are paying then $0.99 a year, but they don’t and this is for your own good.
So, features-wise, i’ll give a point to WhatsApp because of its usability.
Viber: 3
WhatsApp: 4

Conclusion

So, the final score that WhatApp gets is 4, while Viber loses with just one point and gets a 3. Even personally, i would recommend WhatsApp because of its limited features and better usability relation. What is your favorite messaging apps for your smartphone?

install Whatsapp on Tablet 3 with no Sim Card

whatsapp
So, you want to install whatsapp on your tablet which does not have a sim card and the calling facility? The first question that comes in your mind is whether, it is possible to do that?
And the answer is yes! And, by the way it is very very simple to install whatsapp on sim card less tablets. There is a small trick which you need to follow which is very simple. So let’s learn how to do this.
Install Whatsapp on Tablets with no Sim Card:
The first step you need to do is, obviously downloading Whatsapp from the Google Play Store.
Now, open whatsapp, it will ask you to enter your mobile number. Now, enter the mobile number for which you want to activate whatsapp.
Now, it will show that “we have sent an sms at your number, we will automatically detect that and let you know when we are done” . Now, you will receive an sms with verification code at the mobile number which you have entered. Delete it! Its of no use :p
Whatsapp wil try to detect the sms till 5 minutes but after 5 minutes, it will show a message that sms not detected and will display the option to “verify by call”
Just press the call button and you will instantly receive a call on the number you entered. Pick it up, a voice will tell you your verification code (It will repeat it 3-4 times), listen it carefully and enter it in your tablet.
That’s it! You are done with the installation of whatsapp on your sim card less tablet.
Note:
Whatsapp works on only one device for each number. So, if you install it in your tablet, you cannot use it simultaneously for the same number on your phone. If you try to do that, it will block your access and show you the message to reverify your number.
So, this was the whole you need to know to install whatsapp on Tablets with no Sim Cards. Hope I have helped you.

Please like and share this post. Your valuable comments are always appreciated.

Which is the best Viber or Skype?

Viber is an app for smartphones that allows friends to contact one another. It attempts to be a phone replacement by allowing you to communicate through the app, even if friends aren't using it. Now Viber has released on PC and Mac, but it still requires a smartphone account before you can use it. By using 3G or WiFi, you can communicate through messages or VoIP calls for free with friends who use the app .
But the release of Viber on PC and Mac signals its entry into the domain of Skype, arguably the king of VoIP calls on PC, Mac, and smartphones. With Microsoft's acquisition of Skype, it acts as the replacement of Windows Live Messenger and will add millions of users. Viber was primarily a smartphone app and is only now being offered on desktops with its video calling feature in beta. There is room for growth from Viber, especially since people are looking for Skype alternatives.
How does Viber contend against Skype?

Registration and pricing

Viber
To use Viber, you have to register your phone number to receive a code  in order to activate the app. If you don't have a phone number, then you can't use Viber. Once you register and install Viber on PC or Mac, it will import your contacts from your phone rather than act as a standalone program. Viber is still free, but only if you are willing to register your phone number.
Skype
Skype is also a free service for making calls to other Skype members. To call landlines or phone numbers, you need Skype credit. The price per minute for calling phone numbers differs depending on location, but it is generally cheaper than carrier long-distance charges.
Winner: Skype
The fact that Skype is free to register makes it a better option. Required phone registration is a deal breaker with Viber.

Video Calls

Viber
Viber's video calling feature is still in beta and hasn't been optimized. Video calling is also only possible on PC or Mac, not smartphones.
Skype
Skype has integrated video calling across all its platforms. You can make video calls from PCs and smartphones and even communicate from PC to smartphone. With a broader install base, Skype has more users and better functionality with its video calls.
Winner: Skype
Skype allows video calling with all its apps and desktop versions. Viber is still developing its video calling, but Skype's installation base is much larger.

Call Quality

Viber
Since video calling is still in beta, there were issues when testing. There were problems with video quality and audio wasn't clear. Even with a high-speed data connection, these problems still persisted. Using the phone app also led to some issues with audio quality.
Skype
Skype has obviously spent a lot of time optimizing video calling and it showed during tests. While the data connection played the biggest part in quality, Skype was smoother and was less laggy. Calling with voice wasn't a problem either with great quality audio from both PC and smartphones.
Winner: Skype
Skype has had a lot of time to work on the backend of the service to provide great quality video and audio calls and it shows. If there's ever a problem, it is likely related to your data connection.

Pricing

Viber
Viber is free, which is great, but only to other Viber users. If you make a call through Viber to a non-Viber user, you are charged the normal fee from your carrier.
Skype
Skype to Skype user calls are free regardless if they are on a computer or smartphone. You can also load Skype Credit to your account to call landlines and other mobile phone numbers for a per-minute charge. Generally this cost is low, allowing you to call friends in other countries without breaking your wallet.
Winner: Skype
Skype once again wins against Viber. Viber does allow to call non-Viber users, but you are subject to carrier charges. Skype also allows you to call regular phone numbers with a cost, but it is cheaper than what providers normally charge.

Installation Base

Viber
Viber is available on popular smartphones operating systems and even includes versions for Nokia Symbian and Bada. The new desktop client is a great way to keep talking with friends without having to hang up and call back.
Skype
Even with Viber available on many mobile operating systems, Skype easily defeats it with support beyond smartphones and PC/Mac to include tablets, TV, and even the PlayStation Vita. Microsoft's push for Skype as the primary messaging service for Windows will increase its user base, creating an even larger ecosystem. Skype will also be integrated into Outlook.com giving you a web-based option for communicating with contacts.
Winner: Skype
Skype's growth outside of mobile devices shows that there is more widespread acceptance of the service. With almost any digital device you own, Skype will probably be supported.

Skype still dominates

Viber may be treading into Skype's territory, but it doesn't have the infrastructure to compete. With Microsoft pushing Skype into many products, its dominance will continue. Until Viber can introduce something new or different, users have little reason to leave Skype.
If Viber can get video calling support onto smartphones, allow registration without phone numbers, or drastically offer something more beneficial than Skype, then maybe it has a chance . But as of right now, if you're a Skype user, there isn't a reason to leave.

10 WhatsApp Alternatives For Your mobile

Are you a user of the messaging app WhatsApp? For iOS users, using WhatsApp required a one-time $0.99 fee while Android users get to use it for free, but only for a year. After the first trial year, Android users need to pay an annual fee of $0.99 for the service.
If you are part of the crowd who don’t like paying for messaging apps, we’ve got 10 awesome alternative free messaging apps you can try.

Not only are the following messaging apps the perfect alternatives for iOS and Android users, we also looked into getting alternatives for other mobile operating systems like Blackberry and Windows Phone. This way, you can contact more of your friends regardless of the mobile OS they are on. What was that beep? Did you just get another WhatsApp reminder to upgrade? Time to make the switch.

1. Viber

Viber is very similar to WhatsApp as it uses mobile contact numbers to identify users. You get an access code sent to your mobile number via text message. It’ll then access your address book to see if any of your contacts are connected to Viber; you can then instantly connect with them. Unlike WhatsApp, Viber allows you to call users, provided your smartphone is connected to the Internet.
Viber

2. LINE

LINE registers your phone number into its database where you can then connect with your phone contacts who are LINE users. An advantage of LINE is that it allows you to reply to messages by installing a PC or MacOS program, provided you register your number with an email account. Besides text messaging, you can call other LINE contacts through the app with an Internet connection.
LINE

3. KakaoTalk Messenger

KakaoTalk Messenger also uses your mobile phone number to send you a 4-digit verification code when you register for an account. It then goes through your contacts to find for other KakaoTalk users, similar to how WhatsApp does it. There is also the ability to start group chats, send pictures or audio notes, and share calendar and contact information. Oh, and it does calls too, to other Kakaotalk users over an Internet connection.
KakaoTalk

4. Facebook Messenger

The Facebook Messenger app for both iOS and Android has been around for some time now and since you’re connected to most of the friends you want to communicate with, Facebook Messenger can be a great WhatsApp replacement. Only drawback is that you can’t use it to communicate with friends who are not on Facebook.
Platforms: iOS | Android | BlackBerry
Facebook Messenger

5. Skype

Skype recently merged its contacts with old MSN or Hotmail accounts and its contacts, connecting you to some pretty longtime friends. Nostalgia aside, Skype is not only a great way to call for free, it also allows for text messaging with your contacts. Unlike WhatsApp, you’ll have to approve contacts before you can start sending messages but its reliability and stability makes it a suitable replacement.
Skype

6. LiveProfile

LiveProfile starts off by asking you to register with an email account. After that, you have the ability to add your phone number where other users can find and contact you. Each account will also be given a LiveProfile PIN, this lets you share that PIN to others without giving them your phone number. It has no calling features but it does have standard messaging features with the abilty to start a group chat and send pictures or videos.
Platforms: iOS | Android | BlackBerry
LiveProfile

7. Groupme

Groupme caters to people who want to chat in a group. You log in with your email and then verify your phone number by sending an SMS with a code to the provided number. What’s unique about this app is that it supports group messaging over SMS. So in the event where someone in the group doesn’t have a 3G connection, the person can still receive group messages for a small fee. Each message sent or received will be charged as an SMS sent to the United States.
Groupme

8. Kik Messenger

You register on Kik with your email address, then choose a unique username to allow other users to find you. The app is very simple and does a good job in sending messages to individuals or group. There are no calling capabilities but you have the overall basic messaging functionality supported on a wide variety of mobile systems, for free.
Kik Messenger

9. ChatON

ChatON is an app created by Samsung and is a basic messaging app with no calling features. However the app has found its way to many other markets or platforms. You can choose to sign in with your Samsung account or skip the process and just enter your name. Verify your phone number and the app will start checking all your onboard contacts to see if any of them are on ChatON. The chat is on when you find fellow ChatON users.
ChatON

10. WeChat

WeChat is one of the most popular messaging apps in China. Similar to how you register with WhatsApp, you start by entering your phone number. An SMS will follow, giving you the verification code. You can then connect your Facebook and email account to let people find you more easily. Other functionalities include sharing pictures, WeChat contacts, your current location, and the ability to video chat through the app.

You can prevent a contact from sending you messages by adding their phone number to your Blocked list. To learn more about the effects of blocking a contact, see this article on blocking contacts in WhatsApp.
On iPhone, there are two ways to block a contact:
  1. Use the [Block] button which is displayed when you get a message from somebody who is not in your address book:
